Indian Brethren Fellowship (“IBF”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates https://www.ibfus.org (the “Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information and Registration Information we receive from users of the Site.

Information Collection And Use – General Site Browsing

While using our Site, we do not request or collect any personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (other than Log data – see below).  Personally identifiable information may include but is not limited to your name, email, phone number (“Personal Information”).

Information Collection And Use – Conferences and Events Registration

If a person chooses to attend a conference or other event hosted by IBF, we may require registration using our registration software.  The custom registration software and database are hosted on the Site.  Upon registering, the software will collect your name, address, email, phone numbers, family members attending, age and gender of those attending, as well date and time of arrival and departure from the venue facilitating the event (“Registration Information”).  The Registration Information collected will be used to register the individual, calculate costs, assign rooms, and plan housing, facility needs, and food reservations.  We will share your name, gender, and age for those under 18, with the venue used to facilitate the event to assign housing and plan food, and calculate costs for those who have requested lodging and meals.  Access to the Registration Information is restricted to a few members of the IBF Committee and is not shared or sold to any third party.

We do not store Credit Card information in the IBF registration software.  We use PayPal to process payments via Credit Card.  Please refer to their Privacy Policy.

Log Data

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).

This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

We use WordPress and several generally available plug-ins to operate the Site. In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this data.

Communications

We use the Registration Information to inform you of the registration status, conference or event details, or inquiries we may have about your registration.  We may use your Registration Information to contact you with newsletters, promotional materials, and other information informing you of upcoming conferences or events hosted by IBF and deadlines for registering.  You may opt out of this communication by writing to us at the contact information provided below.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include a unique anonymous identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
